Brief Description: Preparing Ribs To Accept Flap & Aileron Hinges
1. Bolted wing truss to forward spar. Working inside the D-Spar is very tight and took quite a few attempts to keep washers in place while trying to start a nut on the bolt. I laid the truss horizonally to start the fasterners then stood it up vertically to tighten them up. It should go faster when I do the right wing. 2. I double checked the position of the two aileron hinges, the three flap hinges, the bell crank attach points then I drilled all the rivet holes in the various ribs. 3. Removed all Clecos used while drilling and deburred the newly drilled holes in the ribs. Replaced each hinge and clecoed in place . Ready to rivet.
