Brief Description:  Engine wiring

I spent the day routing spark plug wires and redoing my firewall forward wiring to use a higher gauge wire. I used 4 for the start circuit and 2 from the engine to ground. I also fabricated my own ground buss for the engine and am VERY happy with it. It allows me to use fast on connectors for the minor grounds. Even though many components are grounded by mount on the firewall, I ran dedicated grounds regardless. I have all the wires ran into the cockpit and labeled for wiring soon. I have a ground wire coming from the back of the engine ground so I can ground anything at the panel that might need it. I will centrally locate this so that it allows for easy access. I also decided to do a panel mount radio, so I ordered that and it is due in tomorrow. I could in theory rig my wires temporarily to start the engine but I am going to wait. I want the windscreen done so I can complete the cowling. I also want to install the canopy before engine start (at least I think so)
