Brief Description: Baffling, and firewall forward work
I redid ALL of the baffling today and I am very pleased with how it is now. I am finally able to move on to some new things! I think I am finally done with the cowling and the baffles for now.
Today I:
- Redid all the baffles and some of the fence assembly too and reinstalled it all. - Added nutplates to the front receptacles and removed the southco's, - Flipped the starter to allow for more clearance at the intake. - Installed the intake manifold and tightened it all in. - Drill/Tapped/installed the carb and air filter. - Safety wired the carb. - Started to safety wire the exhaust. - Wired the coil jumper wires. - Mounted the oil cooler to the shroud. - Mounted the oil cooler assembly to the engine. - Ran the Thermocouples through the fence and sealed it. - Ran the mixture cable to the carb
You can kind of see the new oil cooler hole.. looks good!
