Brief Description: Final assemble and first solid rivets!
I got all the pieces in their places and bolted in then it was time to attempt the solid rivets. I had tried doing practice pieces on the floor but I never held the bucking bar in my hand while I riveted with the back riveting set so I put a few holes in a practice piece to see how it went. It was flawless so I figured it was game time. I planned on installing one rivet, just so that I could say I did it today. It was so prefect and fun I decided to do a few more, then a few more, I stopped after the first 19 that went on the lower stiffener angle. I am proud of how they came out! Many more to go.
Since my ears are still ringing I guess I will have to wear some hearing protection tomorrow.
