Brief Description: Problem with Horiz Stab front spar
I may have made a goof on the horizontal stab front spar. When I cleco'd the two halves of HS-702 to the HS-710 and HS-714 reinforcements, I misread the diagram and used the wrong holes. You can see the gap between the two 702 pieces in Image 1. This resulted in mismatched holes at the HS-702 attach points (image 2).
I'm standing by for words from the Mother Ship and the brothers at Van's Air Force on whether: - I compromised this assembly's strength? - Do I need to order two new HS-702s? - Or is there no worry here? - Or a method to preserve the strength?
