Calculate cylinder barrel shim thickness. Assemble a piston & cylinder barrel assembly, install onto #1 connecting rod, seat cylinder to crankcase. Measure deck height: -.004" to -.005" (minus value means piston is above cylinder) Chart shows qty 1 .060" shim.
6 of 8 cylinder head threaded inserts on the left case are above the shim / barrel seating surface. This will have to be corrected. Elegant engine package? NOT !
