Install F01-08 Flywheel Assembly on crankshaft.
Measure end gap, which is .063" to .068".
Calculate shim stack height by subtracting .006" from the gap, which results in shim stack of .057" to .062". Per Sonex tech support I need not use a feeler gauge (despite the assembly instructions specifically saying to use a feeler gauge), buit a dial indicator instead. If I use the feeler gauge I should use the smallest end gap measurement, which is .063", and shim for the minimum allowable end play of .003". This will be difficult, since the provided shims only stack up to .053". I will have to obtain another shim, look for .004" to .007" shim stock? I have already fabricated a .006" shim, this will result in .004" end play. I will go with this set up, then measre end play with a dial indicator after assembly and adjust if necessary.

Verify that the connecting rods can be installed after crankcase assembly.
Remove left case half.
Install remaining crankshaft main bearings & camshaft bearings into right side crankcase half.
Temporarily assemble crankcase halves and torque to 15ft/lb - 300 in/lbs, check for free rotation. OK!
Dissassemble crankcase halves.
Install right side valve lifters.
Install ACV-P02-17 Camshaft, ensuring timing marks are aligned.
Apply Permatex Aviation Gasket Maker #3 to right side case half.
Install ACV-P01-35 cam plug into right case half.
Install valve lifters in left case half.
Lifter faces are lubed with Crane Cams molylube.
Install left crankcase half, torque to 15 ft/lbs - 300 in/lbs, check for free rotation. OK !
Finish torquing case halves, check for free rotation. OK ! Hey things are looking up !
Install CV-P06-33 Connecting Rod x 4 & bearings onto crankshaft and torque.

Remove excessive casting material from cylinders and heads.
