I fastened the alignment clips to the tail tip with tape. To aid in positioning the angle of the tail tip and check for center alignment I fastened a 1" strip of sheet metal to the top of the Vertical Stabilizer with a center line marked on it. Now I am ready to insert the tail tip into the Vertical Stabilizer. I am thinking having a 3rd hand would be good for this task.
