... I did more filing and cutting on L lower HS alum. fairing. and installed rubber u-channel before drilling #40 holes as pilots for #6 screws. Drilled thru HS stringer and used hole finder to match drill thru the alum. fairing until the tip broke off . Drilled to 36 for threading for #6 screw and began tapping.
