...Towing aircraft turned disaster...George and I procured Jim Cone's trailer at Smartt, drove to George's business near Busch brewery, loaded plane boxes on trailer, secured with numerous cargo tiedowns. Less than one mile on I70 truck jacknifed, Sonoma totaled but George and I and airplane unhurt with trailer damaged also. USAA got trailer truck tow to load trailer and deliver to house before dark. Unloaded boxes in garage.
