Brief Description:  Install Upper Wing Root Fairings

1724 - 1848

Cleco root fairing supports to fuselage side.

Place UHMW shims on spar, verify fit.

Final drill 5/32 holes in upper fairing using #19 drill.

Debur all holes.

Dimple holes for #8 screw using DRDT.

Install upper fairing on wing root.

Scribe fuselage contour on fairing.

Remove fairing.

Trim fairing to scribe line using vixen file, drum sander, s/b wheel.

Install fairing, verify fit and nominal 1/16" gap.

Repeat for other fairing.
