Today I began the final install of the ignition wires.
Standoffs were mounted and clocked, wires captured and secured. This was done on the 1-3-5 side, both top and bottom.
Baffle pass through was installed with silicone grommets and 6-32 hardware.
Routing to the coil packs were determined.
Individual wire lengths were determined and the wires were cut at these lengths.
Each wire was labeled with heatshrink tubing noting it's position.
Next, the coil ends were installed and crimped per the Taylor instructions with a commercial crimper. Silicone grease was applied to a small section of the wire and the inside of the boot per Taylor instructions. The rubber boots were installed over the crimped ends.
The 1-3-5 top plug wires were connected to the corresponding coils.
