Now I have the bug for painting, I decided to fit the top and bottom rudder fairings so I can paint the rudder. I started with the bottom fairing, which I simply match drilled and riveted to the flanges I had installed previously. While I was at it, I drilled the tail end for the tail light adapter fitting and a hole up front for the wiring grommet. Later I'll be sure to drill holes for any water to escape (don't want water changing the balance of the rudder, especially since the Rocket is speed limited to 240 KTAS to limit the possibility of flutter).
