Brief Description:  Completed fuel tank top prep and installation

Installed fuel tank with clecoed-on top into the fuselage and match-hole drilled from the tutledeck skin into the fuel filler flange. Marked the position for the tank flange. Drilled the take flange and match hole drilled the tank top to match. Used a circle cutter with the drill press to drill the large hole for the tank flange.

Also Drilled a hold, backing plate, screw holes and nutplate rivet holes for a Moeller mechaniical/dial guage. This is not part of the kit and offical build instructions. Van's, however suggests that if you plan to install such a guage after inspection that is acceptable to prepare for it by cutting the requiste holes for installation, but to cover it for official ELSA inspection.

I mixed some devil snot and installed both the flange and the backer plate and nutplates for the Moeller guage. Mixed another batch and installed the tank top, sender plate, and fuel sender.
