Using scrap lumber from the shed project an dscrap plywood from the airframe parts shipping containers, I cut out and assembled the standard EAA-style wing stand. I didn't have a ready source of scrap carpet, but, fortunately, what I needed was on close-out sale at Lowe's for 19 cents per square foot. $3.20 total with tax, I was in business.
