After the initial landing light plexiglass cracked, and ordered from Vans and received a new plexiglass. This time I made sure the nutplates lined up with the sking and the plexiglass holes, and the plexiglass screw holes were properly countersunk. I also tried not to tighten the screws down too much. However, before the night was over I noticed new cracks in the plexiglass forming, projecting from the screw locations again. Very frustratedly I ordered another couple plexiglasses so I would at least have a spare this time around.
