I got back into Roxby Downs around lunch time, so only a short day in the workshop today.
I thought I'd install the doubler plate I made a few days ago for the ammeter shunt and alternator fuse block, however I hit an unexpected snag. On the inside of the firewall there's an aluminium angle brace that I didn't allow for, which impeded the doubler plate I'd made. I cut away the corner but this then left one of the nutplates way too close to the edge of the plate (first picture below).
I bit the bullet and made a new doubler plate.

The new doubler plate is finished, and ready for rivetting into place (tomorrow)
