Next up I fitted the block that houses the oil and fuel pressure sender units. The senders mount remotely to the engine, I'm guessing to reduce the effects of vibration perhaps.
With the sensor block in place I then fitted the oil pressure sensor braided hose, and in doing so realised that I hadn't yet installed the nutplates fore the two cushion clamps. No big deal, I fitted them now.
While working on the firewall I also installed the 24-way earth block that I bought from B&C Specialty Products. The bottom picture below shows it fitted to the aft side of the firewall.
