I finished off my custom bracket for the park brake control today. This took a bit longer than it should due to a stupid mistake early in the day. I needed to cut about 10mm off one end of the two long angle pieces ....... well, I cut the wrong end. I therefore had to scrap those pieces and start again. Oh well.
Anyway, the bracket is now installed and I like it. It's positioned in such a way that it's just out of eyesight. With the actual knob installed (I've got one on order) then I'm expecting that it will be just visible when off, but when pulled out (park brake on), then the knob will be out flush with the panel, and very obvious.
