Another job I finished off today was smooting over the rivet heads around the instrument panel map box door. There is quite a few rivets here that will be very visible to my passengers, so I've been spending some time with a resin/flock mix and my orbital sander getting the rivet heads nice and smooth.
Happy with how they have turned out, so all ready now for final painting - satin black. Since the panel is the centrepiece of the whole plane, I think I'll get a professional to paint it.
Also today I alodined and primed some of the wheel fairing parts.
The instrument panel is all ready for final painting
I used filler to smooth off the rivets on and around the map box door
