This afternoon I got stuck into preparing the vertical stabiliser ribs. Thankfully there's only four to do, as this part of the build isn't a great deal of fun. Mini scothbrite-type fibrous wheels in my dremel worked a treat (again) for getting into the inside corners.
Once deburred, I then squared up all the flanges using my block of wood (glad I didn't throw it out after finishing the HS ribs). A bit of work with the fluting pliers to get the parts straight again, and they're now ready to start clecoing to the spars, but I'll save that for tomorrow.
I also spent a little time today making up a soft spot to store the completed horizontal stabiliser. It's now safely tucked away, on a bed of carpet, on the top shelf of my storage racks.
