Gotta love Friday's! Knock off work, grab a pizza and a couple beers, and set some rivets. Am I livin' the dream or what!
Tonight I attached the elevator hinge brackets to the rear spar, and then set about fixing the right side nose ribs into the HS skin. I was quite apprehensive about damaging the face of the skin, but as it turns out there's far more likelihood of damage to the inside surfaces from the bucking bar.
I seemed to get best results when I backed the air pressure off a bit on the smaller rivets, but I still had to drill several out due to poorly formed shop heads.
