Very hot up here at Roxby today. Even with two airconditioners running I still measure 40C inside the shed. Only marginally better than the 44C outside!
Despite the heat, this afternoon I started getting the right horizontal stabiliser skin ready for dimpling. The technique of using a soldering iron and ruler to melt the protective film where it needs to be stripped away worked a treat.
I came back in the evening (when the shed had cooled off to a modest 35C) and completed dimpling all holes in the skin. The DRDT-2 C-Frame dimpling tool, with newly built table, is awesome.
