Over the course of the past few days I've been chipping away at the resin work around the front of the engine cowl, filling the unsightly gaps where the two halves meet. Pictures below show one of the small areas that's now complete.
This process will take quite a while to complete as I can only work on one small section at a time. The join shown in the pictures took me three days. Just gotta keep chipping away I guess.

After forming the area with shiny duct tape, i pour in a stiff flock/resin mix.
