Further work today on the custom oil cooler plenum. I needed to add another layer of fibreglass on the outer shell, so this time I also added a layer of peel ply to help get a smoother finish.
Once dried I then trimmed and sanded so that I could test fit onto the oil cooler. I few tweeks and I was nearly there, just needed to add a bevelled edge to the inside front lip, so that it fits better against the angled oil cooler bracket. My third picture below shows the cardboard formwork I needed to make to form a resin wedge.
