Brief Description: 1: Bottom Cowl Induction Air Intake
The bottom cowl induction air intake is now nearly finished, and it wasn't nearly as hard as I was expecting. I just followed the instructions.
I glued the foam block in place with a cheap craft hotmelt glue gun, then fitted the cowl and proceeded to cut away and shape the opening so it matched the airbox opening at the back. See my first picture below.
I then removed the cowl and laid up a coiuple layers of fibreglass on the inside of the newly formed hole.
When the fibreglass had cured (with a little help from a hot-air gun), I then cut away the foam block so that I was left with a nice fibreglass tube.

A hacksaw blade and sandpaper was all that was necessary to form a neat hole in the foam block
