Some more work today on the left wing tip. I first put the second rib in place, then, using a bright light from the inside, marked out the top and bottom flange positions on the wing tip surface. With the rib removed, I then marked and drilled the rivet positions.
Next I alodined and primed the rib, and when it was dry I glued it in position using a resin/flox mix. I placed a few bucking bars on the top to help hold the mating surfaces firmly together.
To prevent the rib from sliding out of position I found I needed to drill a couple of the holes and fit clecos.
