I started today with a small little job at the bottom of the engine. I replaced the standard oil drain plug with a new one that allows easier draining.
I was suprised at the amount of preservative oil that drained fromt he sump when I took out the plug. I got close to a litre. I let it all drain before wiping the thread clean and installing the new drain plug (with thread sealant). I then safety wired it in place.
