Fitted nutplates to the bottom cowl attach plates at the bottom of the firewall.
Ground out excess resin from between the hinge openings all up each side of the cowl. Oops. When fixing the hinge pieces I must have placed too much resin and the excess was preventing me from getting the cowl fully in to place. The trusty dremel to the rescue again, this time with a micro-die grinding bit.
Investigated a problem I have with the mixture control fouling on the inside of the bottom cowl. Not sure what to do here. I'll try indexing the control linkage arm around a few notches, but I'm not confident that will help enough. Just have to see I guess.
