Also today I finished off the attach strip for the top cowl. This has been held in place with cleco's for the past couple months, so today I decided to run around with the rivet squeezer and set it in place properly. After a quick revisit of the plans, however, I realised I still needed to make up small spacer strips to go between the cowl strips and the fuselage skin. No problem, these didn;t take long to fabricate.
All done now.
Fastener strips for the top cowl attach lugs are now rivetted in place
This looks better than the row of cleco's that have been there for months
