Further pics of initial work on the air filter box.
With both top plates fixed to the bottom of the fuel servo, and the bottom cowl in place, I adjusted the relative positions so the top plate was aligned with the air scoop. I need to do this because the engine is not in alignment with the centreline of the airframe. It's offset to comensate for engine torque (which, in practice, means very little right ridder is ever required....a very noticeable effect when I flew with my mate in his RV-7).
With the top plate and mounting plate both temporarily installed, I also marked and cit the recess required for the mixture control.
