Brief Description:  Engine Cowl

Yesterday I took my bottom cowl brackets to work and, using the hydraulic sheetmetal folder, put a nice neat bend in them. I needed to do this to accomodate the fact that the bottom cowl-to-fuselage interface isn't straight. The cowl slopes up away from the fuselage along the bottom edge. Anyway, with a bend in the brackets the cowl should now sit flat at the bottom edge.

Tonight after work I rivetted the brackets in place along the bottom edge of the firewall flange. I had to use oversized "oops" rivets as I enlarged most of the rivet holes when drilling them out the other day.

All good now.
