I spent a few hours finishing off the oil door today. This has turned out very neat.
I used tank sealant where the hinge is rivetted to the oil door and the cowl, just to help take some stress away from the rivets. I've heard that vibrations can cause the rivets to come loose in the fibreglass if you don't do this. Makes sense.
A nice flush finish

Needed to be careful with the hinge placement, to ensure the door doesn't hit the cowl when opened
