Brief Description: 2: Manifold Pressure and CHT Sensors
Another problem I rectified today was the mounting location for the Chylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensors. Due to a lack of detail on where the CHT ports are located, I'd gone and used the manifold pressure ports by mistake.
I removed all the CHT bayonet fittings from the manifold pressure ports on each cylinder, and plugged them all up except for the one on cylinder 3, where I fitted an AN-4 fluid fitting. I then installed the manifold pressure hose between cylinder 3 and the fitting on the firewall (which I installed for this very purpose a few years ago).
Then I fitted the CHT sensors to the correct locaitons, at the underside of each cylinder head.
