Well, a major milestone was reached tonight when the wings were attached to Miss Tango for the first time.
With the help of mates Pete Harkness and Steve Tucker the wings were attached with a minimal of fuss. The wing spars slotted very nicely into the main bulkhead, and the shop bolts (I bought standard 7/16" bolts for this first fit) went into their holes without too much trouble. Just a bit of wriggling the wing up-down and back-forth, plus some light taps with a hammer, and all was good. Pete also suggested spraying the bolts with lanoline lube which seemed to help as well.
Miss Tango sure does look a lot better with her new wings.
