With the plexiglass bubble match drilled to the frame I could then fit the cover strip that runs down the centreline. To fit this requires removing the plexiglass bubble so that you can back drill the holes, from canopy to cover strip. Not at all difficult.
I started by placing a centreline mark on the cover strip, and measuring and drilling the large hole for the latch handle. I then laid the cover strip onto the canopy bubble using the centreline mark to make sure it was centred on the drilled holes in the plexiglass. I then clamped it in place and started back drilling the holes.
My only issue is that both the drawings and instructions are distinctly lacking in detail when it comes to showing how to finish the ends. I can see that the forward edge needs to end up level with the plexiglass edge, but the rear end is a mystery. For now I'll leave it over-length until I can do some research, and work out how it's supposed to be finished.
