Another stinking hot day here again today, so another early morning start to beat the heat. I finished off sanding smooth the cut edges of the plexiglass canopy, then turned my attention to the instructions to see what's next.
I need to install the canopy frame back onto the fuselage, slide all the way closed, then place the plexiglass bubble on top..... but the guide rails are still only match drilled and not yet screwed into place. I searched the instructions but could not find any mention of this, so figured it's just yet another flaw in the instructions. After some deliberation I decided to go ahead and finish installing the guide rails.
With guide rails in place I then fitted the canopy frame, and placed the plexiglass bubble on top, ready for match drilling.
