The day has arrived - time to make "the big cut" and separate the canopy bubble into two pieces.
It's going to be a stinker here in Roxby today, well over 40C, so I decided to make a 6:00am start and beat the heat. By the time I was ready to cut the plexiglass the workshop was already at 27C, perfect temperature.
To prepare for the cut I first laid out the cut line with insulation tape, to make it far easier to follow with plexiglass dust going everywhere. I also made up some blocks for underneath the canopy bubble, to stop the sides from spreading too far, and to also make for a stable work base.
All is ready!
