Brief Description: 3: Preparing the last wing skin section
Finally today I prepared the left underside wing skin, the last skin section I have that still needs to be rivetted in place.
I got my c-frame dimpler out, possibly for the last time, and dimpled all the holes on the skin. I then lightly rubbed the underside back with some scotchpad, and cleaned thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol, before then priming.
Once the paint had dried I then cleco'd the skin in place, ready for rivetting.
Using my c-frame dimpler. This tool sure was money well spent
The c-frame makes easy work of all the hard-to-reach holes
