Over the course of the last few days I decided to add map lights to the cockpit interior. These are mandatory if I ever want to fly Night VFR, so I figured it's easiest if I install them now.
I contemplated various options before landing on what you see in the pictures below. The lights are powered from the same circuit as the USB Power Outlet, and will each have a discrete switch for turning them on and off. The bottom picture below shows the almost completed installation on the passenger side. I've yet to install the switch, which will sit just below the LED lamp.
