This evening I decided to have a go at assembling the shock absorber for the nose gear leg. Once I got my head around how it all goes together I then deburred the attach points on the powder coated engine mount. There's quite a bit of "overflow" powder coating material that needs to be removed so the bushes all fit nice and neatly.
The pictures below show how it's all assembled.
I am going to send a message to Vans as I'm not comfortable with how the engine control cables need to run through what seems to be too tight a gap (bottom picture), and I'm concerned that they could bind. I'll see what they say about this.
