With all firewall penetrations and mounting brackets complete I next installed the engine mount. Since I don't intend taking it off again I decided to apply sealant to all the bolt penetrations, to make sure engine gases cannot get through anywhere.
I also torqued all the AN6 bolts to 180 in-lb. There was a little math involved here as I used an open-ended spanner extension on the torque wrench, which effectively adds a little more grunt to the process. Applying the formula given in my Aircraft Builders Handbook, I set the wrench to 166 in-lb which ultimatley gives me the desired torque of 180 in-lb at the bolt.
