A bit more work done today, which will be my last for 2019. Am heading down to Adelaide tomorrow, then on to Mount Gambier for the Christmas break. Reflecting onwhere I'm at I don't think I'm going to reach my goal of first flight by end of next year. There's still far too much left to do, plus I haven't ordered my engine yet.
Anyway, today I finished off the outstanding rivets on the left side mid bulkhead, left for me by the Vans QuickBuild team. Some very difficult ones to get to, but done now.
I also completed both nutplate strips in readiness for screwing down the canopy slide rails.
After that I spent an hour or so cleaning up my workshop and putting tools away so I've got a nice clean start in 2020.
