Another new category introduced here in my build log this afternoon when I started on the landing gear. It took me a while to get my head around how it's all assembled as the instructions are written for Cleveland brakes, and I've received Matco with my last parts delivery. Also, the drawings for this part of the build are not exactly the best, with parts omitted for clarity .... just a shame that one of those parts is the brake calipers!
Anyway, I worked it all out in the end, and got the left wheel assembled (less the tyre). It looks pretty cool!
I cut away some of the inboard fairing bracket to make sure the brake caliper wouldn't ever bind, and once happy then I removed it all and alodined and primed the aluminium bits. I'll reassemble tomorrow, once the paint has dried properly.
