Brief Description: 1: Flying
Spent the morning today down in Port Augusta, refamiliarising myself with the pilot seat. It's been four months since I went for a fly, so I thought it about time.
After spending a half hour just practicing straight-and-level, speed changes, climbs/descents, coordinated turns etc, I then went for a bit of sightseeing. I followed the Pichi Richi railway line from Port Augusta, through the southern Flinders Ranges, and over to Quorn. Looks like it would be a very good train ride through some picturesque countryside. Might have to do it someday.
Anyway, it was then back to YPAG where I just flew circuits for a good half hour. Very rusty, so nothing glamourous about the way I handled the little Tecnam, but hey, that's what practice is for isn't it?
