But then ........ I installed the W-916-R Wing Tip Rib, and it did not fit at all well. It pulled the wing tip trailing edge into a very ugly distorted shape. See first picture below.
I moved the aileron so that it aligned with the majority of the wing tip, and this suggested I've maybe set the aileron neutral position incorrectly. See second picture below.
I've now sent a message off to Vans Support to verify my use of tooling holes to align the aileron trailing edge. From the third picture below I used holes marked B and D.
UPDATE: Have received word back from Vans. Yep, I used the wrong hole for aligning the aileron trailing edge. Vans Support cannot explain it, but my Quickbuild Kit has tooling hole C enlarged to 1/2". It should be 3/16". This is what led to my confusion.
