Today I mounted my new Guardian Avionics 353D-201 Carbon Monoxide monitor in behind the instrument panel. Thankfully it came with a nice steel drilling template which made drilling the holes quite easy.
With the monitor screwed in place I then went to plug in the wiring connector that I'd prepared a couple weeks ago, and that's when I noticed I'd made a mistake. I made off all the wiring into a male connector, when it should have been a female connector ...... bugger!
Not to worry, I spent about an hour unsoldering and resoldering. All good now.
Also today I spent a couple hours on general wiring. Not much to show for it, but a bit closer to being finished all the same.
