Back in to the workshop after 10 days away. While I was gone some more parts were delivered, amongst them a couple of wiring pass-thru kits, so tonight I thought I'd install one in the hole that I'd incorrectly drilled for my throttle cable.
These firewall pass-thru kits are awesome. Made from pressed stainless steel they provide good support for the wiring bundle, plus the kit includes heat resistant sleeve, wrap, and tape, for ensuring you get a good fireproof seal.
I also installed with high temperature RTV sealant to ensure no gases can leak into the cabin.
