Brief Description: 2: Firewall Control Cable Fittings
When ordering my firewall forward kit I also got Vans to include some extra hardware items, including a few eyeball control cable fittings for the firewall.
I installed one for my mixture cable, and another for a future prop govenor cable. Although I'm going with a fixed pitch propellor initially, I figure I'll make it easy for myself down the track if/when I decide to convert to constant speed. For now I'll just clamp a short piece of rod in the fitting to seal the hole.
I used RTV sealant when installing onto the firewall, and I also drilled out the centre holes to match the control cable outside diameter.
