After removing the front deck assembly then I moved onto something new...the brakes. After studying the drawings for a bit, quite a bit actually, I first drilled the holes in the firewall and mounted the brake fluid reservoir. This sits on the forward side of the firewall and has a penetration through to the cabin for the brake lines. The reservoir also needs a small spacer made up to prevent it from fouling on the angled portion of the stainless firewall. The drawing just shows to use some washers, but instead I made up a proper spacer from some thick aluminium scrap. You can just see it in the first picture below.
With the reservoir mounted I then fitted made up the hoses from the pedals. Nothing very difficult with any of this, just need to pay attention to the detail shown on the drawings.
